| Because of our many exploits in the areas of aeronautics and space research, we are lucky to have in France a large amount of capable "câbliers" who master the technology of PTFE Teflon at high temperatures to create cables that are capable of transmitting low level signals at high frequencies. These cables are able to process more signals very accurately and with a minimum of erosion, thanks to the exceptional dielectric qualities of PTFE Teflon. This cable has an exceptional insulation and is not sensitive to the charge of static electricity, basically due to the "memory effect" which is harmful to higher order signals and therefore to the transients. With a Teflon insulation it is useless to add a phase compensation unit. The transmission of the signal remains very coherent and homogenous and above all without dephasing. In its present configuration the HORUS represents the absolute summit of technological achievements in the area of signal transmission by cable. It's completely made out of Teflon PTFE with an additional insulating structure made from Kapton® - an advanced electrical insulation made by Du Pont. The two internal conductors are made of multiple strands of silver plated copper alloy. Screening is provided by two concentric braids in silver plated copper wire separated by two pieces of silver foil, counter wrapped to cancel the induction. The exterior jacket also is made from taped Teflon. With the HORUS you are again one step closer to the original signal. |
