Based on Jean-Claude Tornior's observations on the importance of conductors and dielectrics, the new ISIS II represents the synthesis of an ideal cable. The current ISIS II is completely made of silver plated copper of a very high purity using a special heating process. The conductors, including the braided screens, are not in contact with each other but only with the Teflon PFTE. This ISIS II an outstanding definition with a great listening confort. |

| An unbalanced interconnect has an essential role in the final reproduction of sound. Not only does it have to transmit the entire signal but it must also balance the mass potential of the two linked components. For the transmission of the signal it is relies on a copper and silver alloy strand, wound at a carefully selected temperature. The choice of a multi-strand setup, the layout of the strands that make up the conductor and the interaction between diameter and amount of conductors was determined by long listening sessions with all types of sources. The insulation is made entirely of Teflon - resistant to more than 600V - and of which the remarkable anti memory effect qualities are well known. These qualities allow it to preserve the integrity of the signal up to the highest frequencies with a constant group time propagation. The voluntary unbalanced structure of the conductors, there are three of them, and their layout, allows us to obtain a considerable decrease of the interference provoked by mass currents. The connectors are of the type Neutrik «Pro» with auto locking mechanism. |
