| To
benefit fully from the performances of our loudspeakers cables connecting
the amplifier to the speakers, a modification of the internal wiring
in the speaker can, in a majority of case, provide an audible improvement
of the transmitted audio signal.
These cables must be used at the output of the filter to join each loudspeaker. For example, on an three way enclosure at the cut-off frequencies of 700 and 2500 Hz, we will use 19 X 0,3 for the low register, 19 X 0,2 for the medium and 19 X 0,1 for the high frequency one. All these câbles are single conductors ? It means thattwo of them have to be installed per loudspeaker. We recommend also to change the câbles between the loudspeaker entrance plug and the filter by using our PURETRANS cable. It is obvious that the values in frequency indicated are only theoretical and must be interpreted according to the characteristics specific to the loudspeaker which has to be improved. We strongly recommend to consult us to get our installation advises. For Audiophiles who do not feel ready to carry out this modification themselves, our workshop can take care of it. If necessary, we will be glad to submit a detailed estimate to you. |
