This video cable is an evolution of our TRANS S-VHS. To its Teflon PTFE insulation and 75 W conductors we added a triple insulation against radiofrequencies (RFI), magnetic low frequencies (EMI) and gamma interferences. This triple insulation ensures an outstanding S-video picture restitution even on very long distances. With the SUPERTRANS S-VHS you can see the quality of a cable. |

| Whilst a lot of the Hi-Fi Cables & Co work focuses on the transmission of audio signals, it seemed logical that video signals could benefit from much of the same insulation qualities rendered by Teflon PTFE. The result of that realization let us literally 'see' de qualities of a cable. Our success in the field of transmission audio signals shows the importance of cable diameter and conductor lay out. And in addition to that, shielding with good insulating properties and the absence of 'memory effect' are preconditions for perfect signal transmission and rejection of background noise. After the first attempts, for which we adapted the conductors to video frequencies and a transmission impedance of 75 ohms, we were stunned by the image quality. The absence of background noise manifested itself through the disappearance of 'grain' (which has an uncanny way of blurring image edges) and to a lesser extend colored flat tints and color saturation. The PTFE insulation allows us to use thinner cables which in combination with the transmitted frequencies means that the absence of phase degradation is characterized by a time coherent group propagation up to very high frequencies. Synchronization signals and the vertical lines limiting luminance and therefore contrast, are restored with the greatest perfection. The insensitivity of PTFE to electric charges allows for an integral passivity towards the conductors so that it does neither influence nor disturb the flow of electrons. In this manner the transmission of even the most subtle of signals remains true to its original form thereby greatly enhancing our viewing experience. Provided with a triple insulation against radiofrequencies (RFI), magnetic low frequencies (EMI) and gamma interferences the SUPERTRANS S-VHS conductors benefit from a total immunity and ensure an unexpected picture quality. |
