This video cable is an evolution of our TRANS YUV. To its Teflon PTFE insulation and 75 W conductors we added a double insulation against radiofrequencies (RFI) and magnetic low frequencies (EMI). This double insulation ensures an outstanding YUV picture restitution even on very long distances. The SUPERTRANS YUV is predestinated for high definition video.

Since many people use projectors supporting the YUV format we were eager to make the qualities of PTFE insulation available to this type of user.
The special properties of PTFE will prevent memory or skin effect and have less noise and a group propagation time that is almost perfect. This combined will provide you with a cable that is able to render brilliant, saturated colors, stable image edges and no noise-interference on your picture.

The YUV transmission is in principle identical to RGB in that it is a composite signal that has become a modern, adjustable standard able to accommodate long distance transmissions (like S-VHS). It is actually very close to the standard used to record on DVD and it will therefore have little negative influence on the signal it is fed.

The SUPERTRANS YUV consists of 3 coaxial conductors put together in the same shield. The Teflon PTFE insulation allows a very compact cable of only 8 mm diameter. This in turn means we are able to use the popular HD-15 connectors as supported by an increasing amount of YUV and RGB video projectors.
The SUPERTRANS YUV is provided with a double Permalloy shielding against radio frequencies (RFI) and low frequency magnetic fields. This ensures an unequalled high definition picture.
